BREAKING: Man City secretly lining up a stunning £80M+ transfer for a rising star, poised to send shockwaves through the football world.

The Manchester City team is interested in Morgan Gibbs-White, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest, according to transfer rumors. He is apparently well-regarded by City’s scouting department, which has amassed an extensive dossier on the player.

Gibbs-White is not the only possible target for the defending champs, though. Ronald Araujo, a defender for Barcelona, may also be of interest to City given rumors that he could be involved in a trade that would send Erling Haaland to Barcelona. Haaland is reportedly considered the dream signing by Barca president Joan Laporta, who is prepared to offer Araujo in addition to £40 million to acquire the Norwegian attacker.

Manchester City is still thought to be quite interested in Araujo, even if it is anticipated that this approach would be turned down. Pep Guardiola wants to bolster his center of defense.

Manchester City and a number of other Premier League teams are reportedly closely monitoring Sporting Lisbon’s young player, Geovany Quenda, according to HITC. Having spent his whole youth at Sporting, the 17-year-old has just broken through into the first team, catching the interest of elite teams like Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur. Sporting has increased Quenda’s release clause to a substantial €100 million (£80 million) due to his remarkable achievements, as they believe he has the potential to become another legend in the mold of Luis Figo and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Elite teams are still interested in Quenda despite the enhanced release clause, particularly in light of his recent call-up to the Portugal national team. The young player has already received praise from Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva, who even said

that Quenda might take his spot in the Portugal starting lineup shortly. Premier League heavyweights are still after the talented player, but Sporting’s efforts to stave off suitors might not be sufficient to prevent a high-profile transfer.
