BREAKING: Chelsea are reportedly targeting a £25m-rated Arsenal star, who is rumored to be in talks over a surprise January exit.

Following a frenetic summer transfer season, Chelsea are already looking ahead to January, with Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior emerging as a possible target. TBR Football reports that Chelsea, Aston Villa, and Brighton are all keeping an eye on the Polish international, who is open to leaving Arsenal.

Although Kiwior was tempted to return to Serie A this summer, Arsenal persuaded him to stay until January, with teams such as AC Milan, Inter, Juventus, and Roma expressing interest. Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta reportedly assured Kiwior of his role, but with few opportunities due to competition from Riccardo Calafiori, Jurrien Timber, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, Kiwior’s future remained questionable.

Kiwior has done well since joining Arsenal 18 months ago, but Arteta’s squad overhaul has left him on the outskirts. This is comparable to the fate of former club record signing Nicolas Pepe, who struggled to meet expectations before being released for free. Despite moving to Trabzonspor last summer, Pepe’s inconsistency was often compared to that of Manchester United’s Jadon Sancho and Antony. In a recent discussion, Darren Bent defended Pepe, arguing that his achievements at Arsenal were greater than they appeared.

Kiwior’s status is far from resolved, and with Chelsea’s increased interest, his move from Arsenal in January appears increasingly inevitable as he seeks regular playing time elsewhere.
