Manchester United may have to rely only on Manuel Ugarte. The Red Devils sought to look for another target, but their quest came to an end. Late Wednesday, L’Equipe revealed additional information about the status of the Ugarte case. According to the French media outlet, negotiations between PSG and Manchester United for a loan deal with a €60 million buyout clause for Ugarte are nearing completion. The two clubs have greatly narrowed their differences this evening, and the agreement might be concluded within the next several hours. However, the Premier League club attempted to sign another player before hitting a dead end. According to journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Atalanta rejected a €50 million approach from The Serie A side will be playing in the UEFA Champions League this 2024-25 season, so they might want to hold onto key players who helped them win the UEFA Europa League last campaign.
Ederson was acquired from Manchester United. Nonetheless, if the English team is unwilling to pay even more than what they supposedly promised, it is not surprising that Ugarte rumors have spread.
