BREAKING: Miami Hurricanes Set Sights on Securing Final Key Recruits as Deadline Approaches.

This season, the Miami Hurricanes have been playing at a level that has college football fans taking notice. Miami is still unbeaten and among the best teams in the country, riding high on a nine-game winning streak that was highlighted by a 53-31 triumph over the Duke Blue Devils. It’s no surprise that they’re turning into the preferred location for aspiring athletes given their stellar reputation and winning record.

As the season heats up, the Hurricanes are also eyeing a few key recruits from rival teams to bolster their squad. On a recent episode of On3 Recruits, insider Izubee Charles revealed Miami’s top three “flip” targets. Among them is Washington’s cornerback Ben Hanks, who’s currently committed to the Florida Gators, along with Carrollton’s cornerback Shamar Arnoux, pledged to USC, and Armwood’s linebacker Kellen Wiley. Charles remarked, “There are three guys I’m really monitoring as we approach the December 4th early signing period.” It’s clear the Hurricanes aim to wrap up some crucial signings before the deadline.

Miami’s success in recruiting isn’t a fluke; a month ago, four-star recruit Joshua Moore from West Broward switched from Florida to the Hurricanes, and now Coach Mario Cristobal and his staff seem poised for more. With Miami as the only Florida team delivering a standout season, unlike the struggling Florida State Seminoles and Gators, it’s easy to see why they’re an attractive choice. Their unbeaten 9-0 record, the best since 2017, only adds to their appeal.

Following their significant victory over Florida State, Cristobal acknowledged the Hurricanes’ program’s popularity. “In-state and out-of-state recruits can now clearly see this program’s upward trajectory in comparison to others,” he said. The stats support this not-so-subtle shot at Miami’s rivals: the Hurricanes are ranked No. 5 in the LBM Coaches Poll and No. 10 for their 2025 recruiting class, having already secured 22 strong commitments. Now, everyone is watching Miami to see if they can land these highly sought-after prospects and continue their winning run on and off the field.
