BREAKING: Arsenal plot a potential double move for Bournemouth stars, while Newcastle United transfer rumors heat up.

Bournemouth attacker Antoine Semenyo has had an impressive start to the season, scoring three goals in seven Premier League games. The 24-year-old also shone last year, scoring eight goals, one of which came at St James’ Park against Newcastle United. His recent performances have fuelled suspicion that he would be on the move during the forthcoming January transfer window, with numerous clubs, including Newcastle, apparently interested. Newcastle may be trying to improve their right wing options, and Semenyo’s top-tier experience could make him an appealing target.

However, Newcastle might face tough competition from Arsenal, who are said to be monitoring Semenyo as part of a double swoop alongside his teammate Milos Kerkez, according to Caught Offside. Arsenal reportedly see Semenyo as a potential back-up for Bukayo Saka, while Kerkez could serve as a replacement for Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney, both of whom are rumored to be on the way out next summer. Tierney, who was linked with Newcastle during the 2023 transfer window, spent last season on loan at Real Sociedad but is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury from Euro 2024. Meanwhile, Semenyo is familiar with the northeast, having had a short loan spell at Sunderland in 2019/20, though he failed to score in his seven appearances for the Black Cats.
