According to Turkish media sources, Crystal Palace is keeping an eye on Fenerbahce defender Bright Osayi-Samuel, whose contract with the Istanbul club expires at the end of the season. The Nigerian international, formerly with Queens Park Rangers, has spent four seasons in Turkey. A Spor emphasized Osayi-Samuel’s uncertain future, stating that Palace has expressed interest in signing the 26-year-old. Fenerbahce has been seeking to extend his contract since the summer, but talks have stagnated. Over the summer, there was discussion regarding his return to England, particularly when Wolves and Leeds United expressed interest.

Despite the interest, Fenerbahce’s manager, José Mourinho, was keen to keep him at the club. However, it now appears Crystal Palace are the latest Premier League club eyeing the defender. They could begin negotiations over a pre-contract agreement in January.

Osayi-Samuel started the season as Mourinho’s first-choice right-back, but recent injuries have sidelined him for several weeks.
