BREAKING: Florida Gators Commits Prepare for Critical Matchups thid weekend Amidst Hurricane Helene Schedule Shake-up.

projected Florida Gators recruits will play in regular season games this week, however some game schedules have changed due to Hurricane Helene. Here’s an overview of UF’s 2025 and 2026

2025 Commitment:

4-star wide receiver Vernell Brown III – Orlando (Fla.) Jones is still undefeated at 5-0, having won a postponed game against Winter Park on Tuesday. They begin district play on Saturday against Auburndale on the road.

Rickards (4-star Edge Jalen Wiggins – Tallahassee, Fla.) is 3-2 on the season. Their game with Fort Walton Beach has been rescheduled until next Wednesday instead of Friday.

Waltez, a 4-star running back Clark, Tampa (Fla.) Plant is 2-3 after two loses. They will meet unbeaten Armwood (5-0) on Saturday, a game that was rescheduled due to the disaster. Clark will face Jaelen Waters, a 2026 Gator commit, in this round.

4-star LB. Myles Johnson – Brewton, AL T.R. Miller is 5-0 and faces UMS-Wright Prep on Friday night.

4-Star S Demetres Samuel Jr., Palm Bay (Florida) Heritage, which is now 1-4, seeks to snap a four-game losing run when they face South Fork in district play. Samuel is also anticipated to attend UCF’s game against Colorado on Saturday.

Three-star WR Joshua Moore – Pembroke Pines (FL) West Broward is 3-2 and plays Everglades on Friday night. He is also scheduled to visit UCF this weekend.

3-star WR Naeshaun Montgomery – Miami (Fla.) Central is 4-1 and on a four-game winning streak, but he is off this weekend.

3-star tight end Tae’shaun Gelsey – Jacksonville (Florida) Riverside is getting ready for a major game against 4-0 Raines, which has been moved to Monday afternoon. Gelsey will compete against five-star FSU commit Solomon Thomas.

Madison (MS) Central is 3-1 and has won its previous two games, led by 3-star TE Micah Jones. On Friday, they will face Warren Central, which is 2-2.

Three-star RB. Chad Gasper, Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan is unbeaten at 4-0 and faces winless Morton Ranch (0-4) this Friday.

3-Star DL Jeramiah McCloud, Leesburg (GA) On Saturday, Lee County, which is undefeated at 5-0, will visit Thomas County Central, also 5-0. McCloud has not played in Lee County’s last two games.

3-star DL Joseph Mbatchou – Loganville (GA) Grayson has a 4-1 record, riding a four-game win streak. They play 2-3 Newton on Monday.

Bridgton (ME) Academy’s 3-star P Hayden Craig will play at home on Sunday against New England College.

2026 Commitments:

4-star quarterback Will Griffin – Tampa (Florida) Jesuit is 3-2 following a bye week. They were scheduled to host 5-0 Cardinal Newman on Friday, but the game was canceled.

On Saturday, 4-star CB Jaelen Waters of Seffner (Fla.) Armwood (5-0) will face Plant.

3-Star S Devin Jackson – Orlando (FL) First Academy is still undefeated at 5-0 and will play Orlando Christian Prep in a district game on Friday. Jackson is also expected to visit UCF this weekend.
