Auburn Tigers, led by head coach Hugh Freeze, are preparing for the 2024 season with a roster full of fresh talent, including freshman Cam Coleman. The Tigers will face Alabama A&M on Saturday. Freeze’s recruiting efforts have paid off, with Auburn securing a Top 10 class according to 247Sp.
Auburn has entirely overhauled its wide receiver and offensive line corps, while also adding depth at numerous positions. Coleman has justifiably dominated headlines since signing with Auburn, and his standout performance at A-Day only heightened the enthusiasm. Perry Thompson and Malcolm Simmons, both freshmen receivers, have also received attention over the last six months. KeAndre Lambert-Smith, WR, Senior, Transfer: After four seasons at Penn State, Lambert-Smith is poised to be Auburn’s top receiver this year. He caught 53 passes for 673 yards and four touchdowns in 2023 and was Auburn’s third-highest-rated transfer, ranked the No. 13 wide receiver in the portal.
Percy Lewis, OL, Senior, Transfer: Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 355 pounds, Lewis comes from Mississippi State, where he played in 25 games with eight starts. Lewis, the No. 8 offensive tackle in the transfer portal, is expected to provide much-needed stability on Auburn’s offensive line, which struggled last season
