BREAKING: Nottingham Forest on the Brink of Securing Key Transfer with £12m player Ahead of Deadline

Nottingham Forest is about to complete their ninth signing of the summer, for £12 million. The club has had a solid start to the Premier League season, picking up four points, and Nuno Espirito Santo was happy with their recent win over Southampton. Despite their concentration on Premier League play, Forest is still active in the transfer market, with less than a week until the window ends.

Romano revealed that David Carmo will join Forest from FC Porto. Carmo will sign a five-year contract valued at about £12 million, including add-ons. Fans will have to wait to see him in action, as he is anticipated to be loaned out to Olympiacos, like Marko Stamenic,  and maybe Jota Silva.

Forest has had a busy summer, with eight new players having signed and more on the way, including Arsenal attacker Eddie Nketiah. While some feared a difficult season for Forest, their excellent start and strategic signings indicate that they are more equipped than expected. Nuno has added new players such as Nikola Milenkovic and Elliot Anderson without making significant alterations to the starting lineup, increasing the team’s depth and quality. The probable arrival of a new striker would bolster the Reds’ already successful transfer window.
