Bruno Fernandes signs new three-year deal at Man United few days before Premier League.

Bruno Fernandes, the captain of Manchester United, has signed a new long-term contract that will maintain him with the team until 2027.

On the last day of the new season, manager Erik ten Hag truly pleased with the new deal, which includes an option for a further year. It’s believed that the new agreement puts him in line with the club’s top earners and increases upon his previous £240,000 per week agreement.

At the end of the previous season, there had been some questions about Fernandes’ future prospects. Since joining United in January 2020, Fernandes has won three Player of the Year awards. However, those worries have since been allayed.

Towards the close of the previous season, Fernandes made it clear that, while he wanted to stay, United had to show him that they valued him. It was the responsibility of the newly assembled leadership group to convey their goals to the captain.
He stated, “It is evident from my conversations with the football management and leadership how committed everyone is to competing for significant trophies in the years to come.”

Ten Hag, Omar Berrada, the CEO, and Dan Ashworth, the sporting director, flanked this is seen as a vital component of business during summertime at United.
He has made almost 220 appearances in his four and a half years in Old Trafford, tallying 65 assisted and 73 goals.
